Getting to Trang
         Trang is located on the western coast in the South of Thailand. It borders Krabi to the north, Songkla and Satoon to the south, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Phattalung to the east, and Andaman Sea to the west.
   
[ By Car ]

Route 1 : Drive south on Bangkok - Surat Thani route which covers 617-kilometer distance. Then, go straight onto State Highway 41 for about 133 kilometers to Thongsong District, Nakhon Si Thammarat. Next, turn onto State Highway 403 for 50 kilometers to Huai Yod . Turn left onto State Highway 4 . Trang is located approximately 28 kilometers straight ahead. Total distance is 828 kilometers.

Route 2 : From Bangkok , drive along State Highway 35 (Thonburi - Paktor) for 90 kilometers. Then, turn onto State Highway 4 ( Petchakasem Road ). When you reach Chumphorn, follow the driving direction to Ranong-Phang-nga-Krabi-Trang. Total distance is 1,020 kilometers.
   
[ By Bus ]

         The air-conditioned buses ( Bangkok – Trang) depart from the Southern Bus Terminal, Boromraj Chonnanee Road (Pinklao - Nakhon Chaisri), Bangkok everyday in the evening. The overnight trip takes about 12 hours. For booking the ticket, please call 02-435-1199.

         From Bangkok , rapid and express trains depart from Bangkok 's Hua Lamphong Railway Station to Trang daily at 17.05 and 18.30 p.m. and arrive in Trang at 7.35 and 09.50 in the morning respectively . For more information, call 1690, 02-223-7010, 02-223-7020, or visit www.railway.co.th
   
- By Air

          Nok Airlines Company Ltd. provides domestic flights from Bangkok to major provinces everyday. The direct  flight  to Trang departs about 9.25 a.m., and the flight  from Trang to Bangkok leaves at 11.20 a.m. The travel takes 2 hours. The air fare is about 3,500 Baht for a round-trip ticket. Getting to Prince of Songkla University , Trang Campus

          Trang Campus is situated on Trang – Kantang Road , Tambon Kuan Pring, Amphoe Muang, Trang.


          On the map, the most remarkable landmark is the clock tower as the center of the town. At this circle, go straight along Rama VI Road . After passing Bangkok Bank for a while, turn left onto Kantang Road . Then keep following the ways as shown on the map. The campus is far from the central town about 6 kilometers.
